Nemani Nadolo Joins Two Blues for 2023!

Big news for the Club this week with Fijian International star and new Waratah recruit Nemani Nadolo agreeing to join the Two Blues for Season 2023 as his nominated Shute Shield Club.

The Fijian star returns to the Waratahs where he was originally contracted to the team in 2008, before stints in France, England, and Japan before returning to Super Rugby with the Crusaders.

Stints at Montpellier and the Leicester Tigers followed, with Nadolo finishing the 2021-22 season with ten tries from 21 matches in his most recent season for the Tigers in Premiership Rugby.

After a stellar club career spanning Europe and New Zealand, the Fijian winger is excited to return to Australia.

Nadolo has decided to link with the Two Blues to support the Club’s Premiership ambitions, support the Club’s work with Junior and Colts development across Western Sydney, and contribute to inspiring young kids to take up the game of Rugby.

Nadolo said “The Two Blues are a Club on the up and I really admire their journey and hard work going into making the Club successful. I have known Sailosi (Tagicakibau) for a long time, and it made a lot of sense to link up with him on my return to Sydney. I am also eager to assist the Club with promoting and growing Rugby in Western Sydney – there is big Pasifika community living there and I hope to inspire some of the young kids in the region to follow their rugby dreams like I did.”

Nemani will work with the Two Blues to arrange a number of appearances at various events and coaching clinics run by the Two Blues Seniors and Juniors throughout the 2023 Season, including the Two Blues Rugby Academy.

Two Blues Head Coach Sailosi Tagicakibau said “We are really excited to have Nemani join the Club for the 2023 Season. Everyone will know he is an exciting player with a massive international rugby profile, all of which will help the Two Blues on and off the field next year. I look forward to working with him to make a difference to our Club and community. I am sure he will do a lot of great work to inspire kids in Western Sydney to take up Rugby.”
