While 2022 may have signalled the end of his long-playing career for the Two Blues, 2023 will see Pat Searson continue to support the Club through his Personal Training business – the Rugby Development Coach (RDC).
RDC will partner with the Two Blues in 2023 to provide the Club with up to 10 Scholarship places on his specialist RDC Program – all in an effort to support the Club’s Player Development Programs for our Colts Players and help them to train smarter and harder.
In setting up the partnership, Pat said “I now am here to help players who want better training for themselves, who want an edge over their competition, who want more out of themselves. With over 500 athletes thriving on RDC programs, RDC has come up with a proven formula to help athletes become stronger, faster, and more mobile than the opposition. The Colts at the Two Blues are the future of the Club, so I’m excited to be a part of the Development Programs to support them.”
Two Blues General Manager Christian Burden said, “We are really excited to be working with Pat to support the development of our Colts. Pat jumped at the chance to get involved and we know how passionate he is about the Club. As a former player at the Two Blues, it’s great to see him giving back to the Club and helping the next generation of Two Blues coming through our Club. We are very grateful to Pat and the team at RDC for their support.”
Pat’s RDC Program specialises in developing Rugby players by taking an individualised approach to training based on the player’s position, their goals, physical capabilities, and injury profile.
Two Blues Colts Head Coach, Tobias Gukibau also said “It’s great to have Pat with us as part of the team moving forward into 2023. We have some genuine raw talent in the Colts Program at Two Blues, and we want to help them become better Rugby Players by providing them with the best support and guidance we can – both on and off the field. Pat’s commitment to the Club is second to none and we know the players will be in good hands with him. I am looking forward to seeing some of our players transform themselves over the off season and make a statement on the field in 2023.”
