Aurick joins the 1st XV Club for 2023!

Sydney based boutique construction & project management company, Aurick, is getting behind the Two Blues in 2023 by becoming a member of the 1st XV Club.

Aurick’s Tim Holliday said “Aurick are delighted to be supporting the Two Blues in 2023 through the 1st XV Club. I played for the Two Blues for 14 years at various levels, and I admire the work that is going on to improve things. I watched a few games in 2022 and I was impressed with the new Stadium, the positive feel to the Club and it was great to see 1st Grade have some big wins as well. We are looking forward to getting behind the Club and helping where we can.”

Aurick come on board at a time when the Two Blues are preparing to get Pre-Season training underway and begin preparations for another big year. Head Coach, Sailosi Tagicakibau said “Having great sponsors and supporters like Aurick behind the Club makes a big difference to our ability to perform to the highest level and compete hard against the other teams in the Shute Shield. The 2022 competition was one of the closest in living memory and it won’t get any easier. The players are getting ready for Pre-Season and we kick off in April so we have lots of work to do between now and then. I am really happy with the progress we made in 2022, but we know 2023 will be a new challenge, so we are really grateful to our sponsors for getting behind us.”

The team at Aurick are involved in the procurement and construction of projects across the residential, commercial and hospitality sectors throughout NSW. Two Blues General Manager, Christian Burden said “We are really excited to have Aurick join the 1st XV Club for 2023. It’s encouraging to know that an organisation such as Aurick share our values and are getting behind us to back our plans. The Club has been fortunate to have some wonderful sponsors who have stuck with us over a number of years, and we are pleased to welcome Aurick to the fold.”

Two Blues President, Scott Rogan said “We are most grateful to Tim and Aurick for getting behind the Club as a 1st XV Club sponsor. How terrific to have a former player come back and sponsor the Club. We are working hard to help strengthen our ties with our former players, and Tim has provided a great example to others about how they get behind the Club to help us on our journey.”

The Shute Shield will kick off on Saturday 1 April, and will see the Two Blues travel to Concord Oval to take on West Harbour. Round 2 has the Two Blues returning to the Eric Tweedale Stadium on Saturday 8 April when we host Gordon in our first home game for the year.
