Two Blues and RunWest Join Forces

TWO BLUES SUPPORTS JUNIOR RUGBY WITH RUNWEST

The Western Sydney Two Blues has announced its intention to support the area’s junior rugby community through the rugby union club’s partnership with RunWest.

Craig Morgan, General Manager of Two Blues, is enthusiastic about the partnership.  “We are pleased to be supporting junior rugby via the Western Sydney Two Blues Junior Rugby Union.

“Junior Rugby Clubs are the future of the game and the game itself delivers so much to the lives of families within the Western Sydney community. Rugby as a team sport emphasises crucial life skills such as team work, social development along with physical development, communication, coordination and an opportunity to develop friendships that last a lifetime.”

The Two Blues community simply have to enter the 12Km or 4Km RunWest events next March for 25% of their entry fee to be donated back to the Club which will be presented directly to the Junior Rugby Union division of Two Blues for grassroots support.

Stars from the Two Blues men’s and women’s teams will be on hand during RunWest so fans of all ages will be able to meet their favourites, grab an autograph or two and even get to join in a kick around.  The players will be part of the RunWest Start Zone Festival at the line up for the 4Km event which starts at Blacktown International Sportspark on Sunday March 31 at 10.00am.  There is no minimum age for this event but all entrants under 12 years of age must be accompanied by a registered parent or guardian.

“We are pleased to be able to give back to our junior clubs and support the families who in turn support the game of rugby in Western Sydney,” said Craig.
