The Two Blues are excited to announce that Christian Burden has been appointed as the Club’s new General Manager. Christian takes over from Craig Morgan, who has served as the Club’s General Manager for the past 5 years.

Christian joins the Two Blues after an extensive recruitment process, impressing the club with his experience, vision, and alignment to the club’s desire to become a powerhouse of Australian rugby.

A Two Blues Spokesperson said “We are delighted to welcome Christian to the Club and look forward to working with him in what is an exciting time for the Two Blues with the pending opening of the impressive Eric Tweedale Stadium and with our new coaching team who have hit the ground running with development of the club’s rugby program. Christian impressed during the interview stage presenting an extensive plan for the club and we are looking forward to having Christian as part of the team. We would also like to take this opportunity to publicly thank Craig for his hard work, dedication, and commitment as our General Manager over the past five years, steering the Club through some major challenges, and we wish him all the best for the future.”

In the lead up to commencing his role, Christian said “I am honoured to have been offered this opportunity to work with the Western Sydney Two Blues and lead them into what is an exciting time in the development of Rugby in the West. Our new world class home ground and stadium facilities present a once in a lifetime opportunity for Rugby to mark its presence in Western Sydney, something which sits at the heart of the Club’s strategy moving forward. In addition, we look forward to developing stronger connections with our community, past players, sponsors and supporters, and we are most grateful for the strong support we have from Cumberland Council, NSW Rugby Union, and Sydney Rugby Union to deliver a first-class Rugby program and experience at the Two Blues.”
