The Two Blues are pleased to announce an exciting new partnership with SEDA Group and SEDA College NSW to deliver the Two Blues HSC Program.

SEDA College NSW is a secondary education provider based in Sydney, which delivers a range of course offerings to meet the varying needs of its students.  The SEDA Group learning model embraces an experiential and applied pedagogy with strong industry partnerships, particularly in the sports industry.

Students complete a Certificate 3 in Sport and Recreation, a Certificate 2 in Business, Advanced First Aid and CPR, and all the requirements of the HSC. They also have the opportunity to complete other certifications, for example, a Certificate 3 in Fitness, Community Services, or Events Management.

The SEDA model places student interest at the forefront of their secondary education, through a practical connection to industry. SEDA partners with a variety of sporting groups including Rugby League via Parramatta Eels and South Sydney Rabbitohs, Basketball Sydney Kings, Football Western Sydney Wanderers & Sydney FC, AFL NSW, Cricket Australia and Netball NSW.

Two Blues General Manager Craig Morgan said “we are very excited to be launching this new partnership with SEDA. This will be the first Rugby Union program for the college and great for the club to sit alongside other premier sporting organisations as a SEDA program partner. We see a wealth of opportunity for Students, SEDA and the Two Blues via the delivery of mutually rewarding programs that link education, sport and business together.

SEDA’s students benefit from the connection to high level clubs, volunteering opportunities, expertise of club staff, and industry work placements. Students also have the opportunity to gain insight into careers and maximise chances of work in the industry after graduation.
